Terms and Conditions

1. Purpose

These terms and conditions govern all sales made on the Artlines by Lou website, operated by a private individual based in Switzerland. Placing an order on this site implies full acceptance of these terms.

2. Products

The artworks offered for sale are hand-drawn originals, each a one-of-a-kind piece. Photographs shown on the site reflect the actual artwork as closely as possible, with slight variations possible due to screen display.

3. Prices

Prices are listed in Swiss francs (CHF). As the seller is not subject to VAT, no value-added tax is applied to the listed prices.

4. Custom Orders

For any custom order (personalized portrait), the production timeline, final price, and specific terms are agreed upon with the client beforehand, before any payment is made.

5. Payment

Payment is made online at the time of ordering, through the payment methods available on the site.

6. Shipping

Artworks are carefully packaged and shipped from Switzerland. Delivery timelines are indicated at checkout. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer, unless otherwise stated.

7. Right of Withdrawal and Returns

As the artworks are one-of-a-kind and/or personalized pieces, they cannot be exchanged or refunded, except in the case of a defect or damage found upon receipt (see section 8).

8. Defects and Claims

In the event of damage during shipping or an obvious defect, the client has 7 days from receipt to report the issue via the contact form, with photos included. A solution (partial refund, goodwill gesture) will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

9. Intellectual Property

The sale of an original artwork does not transfer the copyright of the image. Reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of the artwork without prior written authorization is prohibited.
